The east pearl tower

In the TANG period, about 1300 years ago, there is a famous poet with the name of Bai Juyi, he ever wrote a poem to describe the song of a girl. It means `big pearls and small pearls fall into the jade plate `. In fact the designer of this tower got a lot of inspiration from this poem, so the tower also looks like balls, or maybe we can call them pearls. So this tower is connected with the literature of old China.
It is 468 miters, and we can see the Shanghai filled with tall buildings on the top of the tower.
